Inside the design
Editorial serif headings, numbered profiles, small architectural drawings, and a folded-poster-style hero create the feel of a considered neighborhood field guide. The directory uses generous horizontal entries rather than a dense grid, and an original schematic map gives the sample areas a visual relationship without pretending to provide real navigation.
Community guides, neighborhood-directory concepts, maker-space collections, and small curated lists of places that can begin as a single static page.
- Six complete fictional place profiles with native details
- Literal search, category filters, area filters, and saved-only view
- Temporary in-memory bookmarks with explicit reset behavior
- Original editable SVG architecture and schematic map
- Map index that reveals and focuses a matching entry
- Complete content without scripts or network access
Start with your own content
Replace fictional places and the schematic illustration with accurate community information. Confirm descriptions, access details, contact destinations, and any practical claims with real operators before publishing. Update category and area data attributes with their select options. Bookmarks last for the current page load only; reviews, verified badges, submissions, bookings, persistent accounts, and live maps are separate integrations. Edit metadata and remove the preview noindex directive for a finished customized site.
